DAY SIX.  It was time to disappear back into our normal lives but we would still be friends due to the life threatening experience.  We flew back and landed in Washington D.C. and got one of the biggest surprises ever.  Before you think any thing, your probably right.  We did meet the President of the United States of America.  Yes, we received medals of honor for our victory over the Scootoes. And yes, we got a lot of press coverage. We were definitely not expecting that.  But Alan Falquet, that genius, got it into his head to call the president and tell him what we were doing.  That’s also why we were able to land in Washington D.C.  I kept every single article about us and the medals we received.  
Twenty-two years later, I am writing this story.  My daughters are married with wonderful kids, my wife is still as beautiful as ever, and Charles died of naturally at an age 84.  I still remember the adrenaline rush that I felt while fighting the aliens, I even got a wonderful sketch of the Scootoes that Alan and Charles drew together.  Alan is alive and still going like he was back then, and I still can’t believe how much he did for us when we did not expect it from him.  And that... this... is my story.
